Washington SyCip Garden of Native Trees is a 4,700 sq. m garden of 90 species of indigenous and endemic trees located at the Diliman campus of the University of the Philippines. The garden is a model site for the National Greening Program created by Executive Order 26, which aims to establish urban native forests by planting indigenous and endemic trees in public schools. The garden strives to foster the awareness and appreciation for the biodiversity of Philippine native trees, especially in urban areas where greenery is quickly being overtaken by concrete.
